Police asked other law enforcement agencies for help this afternoon after a group of 1,500 protesters jammed traffic on Bristol Street near 1st Street and Edinger Avenue and some started to hurls rocks, plastic bottles and marbles at officers.

I would argue that Americans simply are not yet aware that America has a nasty boil on the body politic that will eventually have to be lanced?I hope you're right. I'm simply going on years of southern California experience, where I watched the native population and the old American culture disappear in a flood of immigration.
