Well thats your pre-rogative. Some of us prefer to see through rose-colored glasses so as not to see that it's actually gray and stormy. Some of us would rather go see the movie RV while others prefer to see United 93.

The truth is not always pleasant to hear. You can try to sugar coat it or you can present it in a raw animated passionate way the way Savage does. I think if Savage were more concerned about ratings, as some here seem to want to imply, he would be more into the sugar coating method so as
not to offend his audience. However he didn't rise to #3 in the nation sugar coating his conservative viewpoints.

In your post...you tout that Savage isn't concerned about ratings...

Then, in your last line, you seem to be justifying Savage's "eccentricity" by his ratings...

I am sorry, but listening to someone have a nervous breakdown on the radio isn't my idea of entertainment.

As far as his political views...they may have once been pretty good...back when it was "Borders, language, culture"...which I happen to agree with.

However, it seems like everytime I turn to his show, he is contradicting a stance he had a week or so earlier...about any number of subjects....

ORRRRR...he is talking about why should he go on, life sucks, everything is awful...is it worth it??

Sorry...but that is a total turn-off to me.
