I wonder what the reaction would be if there were a "Year Without Taxpayers"?

I think that is a great idea!. We should have a big rally april 15th and withhold our 1040's until that day and all drop them at post office at same time threatening not to drop them at all if the elected sellouts don't return to a conservative agenda . Taxes are the only "vote" they will pay attention to. If we all maxed out our exemptions and had to pay instead of get a refund, it would make a huge point if they didn't get them until the last minute, and the threat of mass tax rebellion would make them pay attention. Many of us don't have much withholding anyway so we could withhold a considerable amount to revenue from them and really make a point. I'm sick of both Dems and republicans in Washington over the way both are handling, immigration, energy, law enforcement, abortion, the debt, and social security, among other things. . Its really time we get serious and start playing with their ability to fund the things which are destroying this country. If they will enfranchise lawbreakers and non-citizens , then in effect we are being taxed without representation. Its time we put an end to this taxpayer abuse!

I really wish there was some way to organize something like that. We citizens are too fractured, too dispersed to effectively make our voices heard.

We keep hearing from politicians and others that it's impractical to round up millions of illegals and deport them. Well it would be even more impractical to round up, say, 100 million taxpayers who find a practical way to take a tax holiday.
