My report from the belly of the beast. Calm and quiet in my mainly Mexican National neighborhood, but most stayed home from work if the amount of cars in the neighborhood is any indication. News reports indicate, nice fast commutes, some report it nostalgically compares to the 1960's.
So far a day without illegal immigrants has many being reminded of how great the pre illegal good old days really were.
Now I'm seeing a few walking in groups of twos and threes heading for downtown. I notice there are cones at the intersection one block away. I guess they will be marching within one block of my house this time.
