I usually TiVo the Colbert Report along with The John Stewart show. There is a lot of dross to find the few pieces of wheat. Colbert is OUT.

I am relentlessly nagging my husband to remove several trees in our yard so that I can get enough sunshine to have a vegetable garden.

We live in NC with 6 months frost free for heaven sakes! It's embarassing to buy tomoatoes and zucchini in the grocery store. I look like I haven't a friend in the world! lol

A garden this year is non-negotiable.

It is a constant source of irritation to me that those who play the class card are usually very wealthy. They got theirs but deny that others can do the same without reallocating income.

I need to be better informed on our former senator who uses the state university, run by Clintonite Bowles, to fund his next run for the Presidency.

I can't stand it. On Fox right now, Bill Crystol is saying no big deal, make these aliens US citizens. He is once again way off base, as he was when he supported McCain.

Take a close look at these rallies, my friends, and tell me if you want these people as US Citizens. [My apologies to our many good Hispanic-US citizens, who are good folks.] While the government fiddles with FEMA and Big Oil, we are losing our country to an invasion of illegals. These are not the wave of people who used to risk their lives to come here and be Americans. These are illegals who want to come here and change America. And to extort their way into US citizenship.

I say, no way. We are either a land of laws or we are not. And if we are not, a Pandora's Box of untold consequences will be open.

Well, actually I suggested to many that next year we should dress up black tie/evening attire.
