I just caught part of it on my way out the door to church. I did catch Secretary Bodman saying in response to one of Durbin's statements that the senator was too smart to believe what he just said.
"Krauthammer is a great mind but he does have a few quirky ideas. Remember he was a speech writer for Walter Mondale for a while and that experienced may have warped him for life."

Off topic news: Seilman's (sp) attorneys have filed papers to have DA Nifong recused from the Durham case.
DA Nifong is a publicity seeking disgrace. Just look what he has brought down on his city. I hope he's defeated tomorrow in the primary.
Up my way .. there are many reasons
Some parents think working will hurt their grades ..though they don't say anything about the kids hanging out at the malls
Other parents .. because they try to keep up with the Jones ... think it's their responsibility to buy them new cars

Was teasing Fox because he'd given me a bad time about posting to him at 2;00 Am the other night! Seems like many of us will never be accused of being in our right minds!! As I told Fox, my father used to describe such behavior as "no brains, no headaches". Haven't had a headache in years!! ;>) Besides, staying up late gives us more time for F14 mode, right?!?!

Agree about the garden! Mr. PTD has quite a nice vegetable garden, and he picks everything himself, without the help of migrant workers, legal or otherwise!

That is being nice, Ali. But, I don't think he is ignorant. I think he is an immoral man who puts his own interests and that of the Democratic party above the interests of the United States. He and Rockefeller and Levin are some of the lowest of the low life in the the Senate.
