This illustrates the MSM BIAS on Race that has formed so many opinions, after all you never hear of a black person committing a Hate Crime:
An eight-year-old boy named Kevin Shifflett was attacked by a black racist in Alexandria, Virginia, a suburb of the nation’s capital. The racist attacker was a 29-year-old parole violator, who had been previously incarcerated for a hammer attack on an unarmed white male, whom he did not know, and whom he referred to only as “whitey.” This time, the attacker used a knife to slash the throat of eight-year-old Kevin. According to an eyewitness, the attacker shouted a racial epithet at the third-grader as he went in for the kill. Later, police found a note in the suspect’s hotel room: “Kill them raceess [sic] white kidd’s [sic…”
For three months, the Virginia authorities concealed the racial identity of the suspect, as well as the fact that it might have been a racial attack. Eventually, The Washington Post did run a couple of stories describing how police had withheld the facts and how they had found the note in the suspect’s apartment. But the rest of the media ignored the case. Could it possibly be that the authorities (and the press) were silent for three months because the killer was black and his eight-year-old victim was white? That is indeed the kind of racial profiling that Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, the NAACP, the ACLU and other members of their vanguard have imposed on our moral discourse.
If Kevin had been black and his attacker white, consider the national media coverage that would have attended this case. Moral edicts and blanket charges would have been hurled from the Capitol rotunda at an anguished national audience; a presidential press conference would have devoted itself to extravagant mea culpas denouncing the outrage. As it is, there is not one person in a thousand reading this column who even knew until now that this event took place.

The leader (Shabazz) make statements on TV like it's an accepted fact that Rape is a White Phenomena and all whites are inherently evil.

I watched Fox's In the Lineup, with Kimberly Guilfoyle late last night, and I couldn't believe the a man that has repeatedly called white people devils and that all black people are righteous and divine by nature - is allowed to give his opinions on National TV without being challenged on his racist comments.
I think it's an outrage that Media treats him with respect and allows him to convey his views and gives him a platfore. Because, I know how they would go apesh*t on a White Supremacist Leader that came to a white town and said his group was going to go looking for the black men responsible for gang-raping a white woman (before any trial).
So many people, you may be included, are numb to the constant double standard in the media.
This guy (Shabazz) has written and said some really outrageous things, yet the Media acts like he has a legitimate purpose here.

You're right. It was a HUGE deal and they had people come from all around, a Federal investigation (I believe) and after
all the Hustlers came and collected money - they never found anything. No one arrested. No leads.
"Duke is a bunch of out-of-state, out-of-touch, very smart faculty and student fast-trackers"....this will get you flamed to some degree...but IMHO, much of what goes on in the Ivy-League -type halls of American academe has resulted in a defacto "ghetto" among the liberal educated elite in America...who generally look down upon the "real" Americans amongst us...

My next door neighbor is a Professor at NC state University.
What you describe applies across the spectrum. It's not limited to the Ivy league type schools.
Many in the halls of academia look down on Blue collar types,
people that cut their own lawn, they look at conservatives as unenlightened, Gun owners as barbaric, etc, etc.
Gee...all this free PR from the NYT for having a 27 year old stripper with a criminal history enrolled at this college.
Aside from that, what about how many kids you have? Still live in the same house as everyone else, even if you have eight kids and they have two? So, "to be fair," the house size is based on family size? So people start having more kids to have bigger houses? Sound familiar?

This is all silliness. Was the girl raped or not by any of the accused? Nothing to do with either school, society as a whole, or what color she was. If a crime was committed prosecute those who did it; if not, charge the girl with making false allegations. To make this anything more than a frat party with a stripper making a claim of rape, is a waste of time.
NCCU is a tribute to the racism that exists in the Black community. It should be gone but is kept as a racist training camp.
Harvard and Yale better watch out. NCCU might start poaching terrorists from the desired student body population.
