Yup, and that's exactly the issue. There's no evidence of an exclusion of gay historical figures from current teaching. The contributions of gays have been getting the same treatment as the contributions of non-gays. In other words, sexual identity isn't mentioned and the contribution is examined on its own merits. In operation, this bill would require the irrelevant introduction of the sexuality of gay historical figures into the examination of their works. Sheila doesn't want equality of treatment, she wants special treatment. Consider it educational affirmative action.

Dennis, by the way, is quite good at pointing up the left's illogic. Last week, upon hearing that they're going to shut down the legislature so that they can go to Monday's open borders demonstration, Dennis suggested bringing a bunch of "undocumented" former legislators to sit in for them.
