Wow. Unemployed, small child AND disabled??? I have found myself unemployed and have had great difficulty finding a job. I do not blame Republicans. I blame my previous employer. And as for your church turning it's collective back on you.......try the new Methodist Church. They are soooo left-wing these days that I can't believe they would turn you away. They love sad stories and you have a triple-dinger going. Good luck.
Their ads are pretty annoying (especially the one with the woman who says "I can't believe there's a church that believes these things," the "things" being stuff like it's OK to worship with people who don't look like you--duh!) but the worst is the United Church of Christ campaign that showed bouncers keeping handicapped people and Blacks out of a church. Of course, what the UCC really meant was "We'll encourage your homosexuality," but since they don't have the guts to say that, they instead slander evangelical churches by implying that we are racists and have a phobia for thedisabled. Real winners.
