It takes a lot of devotion, time, and work to become a physician. It's hard not to suspect incompetence of anyone who--such as Frist or Dean--who walks away from such a hard-won career. I can't help but wonder how many patients lives have been spared because Frist and Dean chose to dabble in politics.

Frist has a good rep as a doctor...and Harvard Medical degree to back it up. He just stinks as a Majority Leader...then again, so did Lott and Dole.

I live in Tenn. I have been very unhappy with Frist as a politician, but he has an excellent reputation as a heart specialist. Your comments are unfounded and unfair.
