I reread the article & saw that the drivers aren't Teamsters & the Teamsters haven't taken a position on the boycott. I'm surprised, considering the size of the port & the number of drivers that work there. I guess it's just the racist ethno-centric drivers that are going to support the boycott. With tension as high as it is in LA, I can see why other drivers wouldn't want to drive that day. Unfortunately, they're probably be viewed by the media as joining the boycott.

I just e-mailed the story to my mother and she's pretty yanked about the rerouting she faces anyway(west coast runs are good money). She won't be boycotting and Schneider hasn't said anything other than , they're routing them away from potential danger.
