I wish I had been smart enough to turn him off, too. But if George and Laura could be adult enough and Christian enough not to flinch, I figured I could stick with them through it.

Because of who had been chosen in the past, I thought that the President was given a say in the choice. I remember Ben Stein doing poorly, Cedric the Entertainer doing better and I can't remember who got the spots in between. In the end the Bushes outshone all the comedians, but none so much as this poorly chosen one.
