Public approval of President George W. Bush continues to decline. Today, for the third time in two weeks, the President's Job Approval Rating has fallen to the lowest level ever measured by Rasmussen Reports.
Just 37% of Americans now give the President their Approval, only 16% Strongly Approve. Even among Republicans, approval has tumbled and is currently measured at 66%. For most of his first term, Bush earned Approval Ratings in the high 80s from Republicans.
At the other end of the spectrum, 62% Disapprove including 45% who Strongly Disapprove. Those figures are also the bleakest for President Bush ever recorded by Rasmussen Reports.

Who knows where these results came from?
I have never been polled by these people. No one in my family has ever been polled for these political surveys. No one I even know has ever been called.
Do I believe what these poll results show?
As I said, no one I ever know ....
I agree with you.
I knew that President Bush was in serious trouble when Harry Reid stated that the President deserved a "Pat on the Back" for his support of amnesty for illegal aliens.
It's all over the media. Fitz is going to decide in 2 weeks. Fitz is an idiot who wants to make a name for himself. He has an adoring media chanting go for it from the sidelines, and Bush, who has referred to Fitzgerald as running "a dignified investigation" is at 37% approval.
Weak case, but he'll indict.
Like the new government just installed???Do you really think the MSM will report that? I have seen it no where. All because, IMHO, it would make GW look good.
There's a lot of good coming out of Iraq, it's just never reported.
What's this supposed to mean:"
"Beginning tomorrow (Sunday), our Job Approval updates will be based upon data using a slight modification to our weighting process. We will adjust our partisan weighting targets once each month based upon survey data collected over the preceding three months. This will maintain the stability needed to follow trends while adjusting periodically for any substantive shifts in partisan affiliation. Recently, we released a summary of our data on partisan shifts over the past couple of years."
"I'm surprised that it's as high as it is, him giving away the country and all."
Rassmussen has consistently held Bush 4-5 pts higher than the liberal pollsters. They also had the best track record polling the last election accurately. 37% is not good, but I'm happy its still in the 30s. Like another poster said, we're -15 pts because the WH has not communicated effectively with the public re Iraq, Katrina, etc.
It's all over DU and the DNC. LOL!
Only if you read the New York Times.
No one who really knows what Rove discussed on Wednesday believes there is any chance that Rove will be indicted.
One thing that Bill Clinton did (that saved his butt) was that he found a way to get his mug on TV everynight. 99% of it was shameless and phony but he got a lot of Americans to think that he was involved and that he "cared". Ronald Reagan is an even better, more genuine example of somebody who know how to handle the media and he exploited it to the fullest extent - except for the last year or two when he appeared to lose his edge, and then his poll numbers started dropping.
The fact is that Bush has a lot of positive things to talk about and he should be pounding away at them everyday. The economy is roaring, there has been very little terrorism since 9/11 (and none in the USA) and despite what the naysayers say, things are under control in Iraq and getting better.
No. If they call me I give "STRONG DISAPPROVAL" and it's *ALL* about immigration. I believe the Republicans are living in dreamland if they do not think they will get burned by this. I give George Bush a pass on all his other bad moves because of his stand on Global War on Terror but I draw the line at his border and immigration stance which negates much of the former.
I hope you are right. I just don't trust Fitz. If he indicts Rove and gets him out before the electios, he'll be a hero to the media and left.
Gas is still at $3.00
You will get good news out of Iraq in the next few weeks, hopefully. Now that we have a government forming.
Optimism seems natural for you. Im not being sarcastic, im envious.

uh. taxes? invasion of america by mexico? spending? invasion of america by mexico? no child ...? invasion of america by mexico? borders? invasion of america by mexico? marriage? invasion of america by mexico? potholes? invasion of america by mexico? who cares? george bush, and the republican party, is/are a disgrace.
only a real conservative could turn this around, and GW isn't a real conservative.
It means that the American people are shifting to the Democrats in droves. The American people now overwhelmingly identify with the vision of the Democratic Party. Misery and malaise are the yearning desires of the American people, and secularism, sedition, socialism, and surrender comprise the agenda of the American people.
