My main problem with the movie United 93 is that it has no moral compass. It doesn't take sides. The terrorists and the passengers are shown neutrally.
It also gives the impression that the federal government was not doing anything during the time between the second plane hitting the towers and the impact of United Flight 93 in Pennsylvania.
The movie abruptly ends with the field in Pennsylvania showing close in the cockpit windshield.
And no view of the field after impact or of any flowers there or any pictures or lists of the passengers.
Just a note saying sorry for ALL the lives lost on 9/11.
I assume this includes the terrorists.
To me, the main reason I want people to see this is to realize that:
1)Americans don't roll over and pee on themselves when times get tough.
2)That this is the "animal" we're dealing with - you can't negotiate with them.
How you got anything else from this, concerns me.
I wouldn't have taken it that way, I'd assume they meant all Americans (in which case I agree they should've said so). But I'll definitely have to see the movie for the proper context to see if I agree.
