Not at all.

He's a radio personality, he's in media, and he has an audience of millions...

I'd say 80% or more people in the business with those ratings are on drugs. Maybe that's naive or it might seem asinine but I've seen it happen so much that when they found out Rush was on drugs, it didn't surprise me at all.

It didn't surprise me that liberals would make a huge deal out of it either, I mean, it's not like he was the mayor of a city and caught smoking crack... and... then... re-elected... Jesus...

Get my drift?

"Get my drift?"

Your drift is that you assumed Rush was “on drugs” –that he did it the way highly paid entertainers do it—in the form of white lines on the coffee table or pills doled out at parties. You were wrong. Rush became dependent on prescription medications. This distinction is not beyond your understanding.

Liberals made a huge deal of it for the reason I explained earlier: they hate Rush because their nearly two decades of attacks against him have only sucked them deeper into the cesspool, that wasteland of slanted news stories and forged documents where they slither and squirm while Rush provides a medium for us to see them for the fools they have become.
