I do not like garlic much. Mr.FF does not like it even more. BUT I FOUND THE RECIPE!
Garlic Soup
1/2 cup olive oil
3 TBS finely chopped garlic
3 cups coarsely crumbled french bread trimmmed of all crusts
1 tsp paprika
6 cups water
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1 tsp salt
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 TBS finely chopped parsely
Warm olive oil over low heat, add garlic and saute 3 mins until soft, not brown. Stir in bread over moderat heat until golden. Stir in paprika, water, cayenne, and salt; bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, 30 mins.
With wooden spoon, beat soup until thoroughly pulverized. Slowly pour in beaten eggs, stirring constantly. Simmer a minute or two and taste. DO NOT LET SOUP COME TO A BOIL, OR ANYWHERE NEAR IT OR IT WILL CURDLE! Add more salt and cayenne if it's too bland. Garnish with parsley.
Serves 6-8
