Just got home from the movie. I was disappointed in the small crowd, in Houston, though I did go to a 4pm showing on a Friday.

I liked the movie for the most part, though it seemed to want to finish in a hurry. Seems there could have been more coverage of the phone calls the passengers made. I also think some footage from the ground in NY that day, of the panic in the streets, might also have been a worthwhile addition. The video work at the end as the plane was heading toward the green field was pretty incredible.

One woman was openly crying at the end of the movie. The entire audience that was at the showing did applaud at the end. We have to support the movie, it's worth it.

I never applaud at movies (not as if the actors are there to receive it) but I might make an exception for this one, especially here in commie San Francisco.

Have not seen it yet, but from what I gather it is true to the story so we won't see each of the hijackers getting drilled through the head with a 9mm. Too bad. I might have to rent an old bond movie afterwards...(from the Connery era)
