The primary emotion I felt was anger. After the brutal murders of the Pilot, co-pilot, the flight attendant and the passengers, you get caught up in the righteous anger as the brave passengers come up roaring out of their seats to counter-attack the terrorists.
Couldn't agree with you more. I was concerned I'd cry during most of the movie, but as the film unfolded in front of me I just found myself getting more and more angry. As it ended, I had to both choke back the tears and bite back the anger...
A bump as this was just released (shame, Universal. SHAME) in Australia in the past couple of weeks, and the husband (a native New Yorker) and I went to see it this past weekend.
(Hard to believe it's been five years already...)
