Speakin of pot smoking.. what has this current caller been smokin?
I am of the same mind. Why would I sit through an hour of hohum for a half hour of ha? I'll just watch Larry the Cable GUy for a full 90 minutes of HAHAHAHAHA!
I agree. I also like most of the modern music used throughout the show. I think Michael has credited the younger guys that help with the show for that music.
I haven't listened to Savage much in the last few days--haven't heard that one yet.
You will hear it if you listen to KRLA 870 in Houston.
THey run it a billion times on Medved's show on KRLA.
Oh okay. They do a similar thing in Denver--use a snippet of his show for a commercial but they haven't used that one. Is Veronica a Mexican name? On a slightly different subject I have noticed that some people from Mexico do name their children more American sounding names.
I'm not sure of the origin (and I may have the name wrong from what is in the commercial) but the implication is the same.
I have to agree with Medved about Schindler's List and the Passion of the Christ--I was soaking wet during those films. I have a feeling United 93 will be the same.
I plan to buy some tickets but not watch.
I missed who he is speaking with? Someone to do with United 93?
I never saw Schindler's List. It never seems to be on TV and Blockbuster doesn't seem to have it.
How could Speilberg make such a pro-Jewish film and 12 years later make "Munich" such an anti-Israel movie?
They did show Schindler's List uncut with no commercials one time on regular TV. I saw it in the theater when it came out and also have it on video I think--I need to get it on DVD. I also love the soundtrack to it. I kind of like Jewish sounding music. That's weird that Blockbuster wouldn't carry it. It would be worth getting on DVD. It's excellent. I didn't see Munich because I heard it was pretty distorted. Did you see Munich?
Just curious--you are going to get tickets but not go?
NOpe, I did not see it for the same reasons.
Oh okay, the Producer of United 93--Lloyd Levin is on. I didn't think it was Paul Greengrass as he is British.
Just a bit of trivia...Speilberg:
Jaws (1975) (musician: clarinet in orchestra) (uncredited)
Medved credited Lloyd Levin with the movie Mystery Men, which I personally enjoyed, but did not get good reviews.
Looks like Khalid Abdalla is the one that plays Ziad Jarrah in United 93.
Here's the full cast and crew for the movie.
