Either way, the elephant in the room is the way the authorities refused to investigate such a thing, ignored the witnesses and snuffed McVeigh pronto.
You have to wonder about something like that.
You said -- "Either way, the elephant in the room is the way the authorities refused to investigate such a thing, ignored the witnesses and snuffed McVeigh pronto."
I went to the Oklahoma City bombing site just a few months ago. I was up in Tulsa visiting some relatives and I thought I would go over there. What I couldn't believe (at the time it happened) was how fast they were knocking down the building and plowing everything into the ground and covering it up (literally speaking). I mean, they couldn't have found anything in the length of time they plowed it all under -- and the building was gone. What's with that?
It was so obvious that "whomever" wanted it all to go away very quickly -- and find *anyone* that they could throw in jail real quickly. And then, execute him so that they could say it was all done. It was ridiculous...
