Well, it's probaby coming from "knee-jerk, armchair, military general wannabees".

All I can say is that it's a good thing that they never "made general".

Between you and me, I hope, and I have trust, that the US military will actually do what it takes to eliminate the threat after a 1-20 or worse nuke attack on our cities. I assume Russia may be off limits, but probably not China.

The islamic world will be hopefully be a memory.

Well, okey dokey, then. If you read my posts on this thread, you'll see that I've never advocated nuking anyone. I merely countered someone else's assertion that New York was a "terrorist-friendly" city.
