Pipe bombs found in rented truck

Two devices believed to be pipe bombs were detonated by police Thursday afternoon in the 1400 block of Cove Drive in east Oak Cliff.

A family who had rented a U-Haul truck found a plastic bag containing the live explosives in the back of the truck, Dallas police Lt. Edwin Ruiz-Diaz said. No one was injured.

Lt. Ruiz-Diaz said police were investigating who left the pipe bombs in the truck.

I wonder if these are going to turn out to be "worship devices" for some faithful followers of the "religion of peace".

No, no, I'm sure it will turn out to be an isolated act by a would be suicide committer, who either forgot to kill himself (and all his belongings!) or changed his mind at the last minute.

This is the latest craze you know, suicide by pipe bomb. (but not terrorist homicide, tut, tut, not at all, please don't get the wrong idea.)
