Russians, dropped one nuke on Moscow and one on Stlaingrad and saved 50 million and lots of $ and US soldiers during the cold war.

The US was in no position to argue with Stalin's bottomless supply of the excellent T-34's and the little detail of covering Russia'ss gigantic supply of real estate. George was gutsy enough to do it, but I do not believe it would be of benefit in the long run.
