I would like the Senate and House to put forth a bill in the mandating a law that ALL STATES must present everyone who purchases gas to receive a receipt that has a breakdown listing the price of the gas, the federal tax per gallon and state tax per gallon.I don't see the constitutional authority for something like this.

I don't know if there is or not, but when you purchase something at a store, the receipt you receive shows the tax. Why not a gas receipt?
