40 billion profits AFTER taxes?? Awwww poor little darlings

To bad so sad about taxes they have to pay!

Go back to the DUmp. Do you know who those profits go to? Everyone who has stock in the company. Everyone whose 401(k) includes mutual funds that invest in energy. Grandmothers on pensions. It's not like Exxon-Mobil is a private company owned by one evil rich guy; there's no C. Montgomery Burns rubbing his hands together saying "excellent...".

I'll ask it again - why do high fuel prices turn freepers into socialists? It's really an ugly thing.

Why for instance isn't there screaming and gnashing of teeth over supermarkets. My grocery bill goes up about 10% every year - with increases in meat, dairy, and produce. Damn greedy supermarket chains. We need a Congressional investigation!

BUT not only do FReepers ques that so do our Senators
and BTW my Daughter has worked for Shell for over 10 years
and yes she does have stock. Now I am sorry I didn't get it and reap the benefits , how much do you contribute when you buy gasoline? Love to benefit off of your purchase.
