LOL. nyc and san fran are 2 of the most expensive places in the country to buy homes! so what, its going to be cheaper to buy in nyc than kansas next year? dream on.

Actually, its quite the opposite. DC is so expensive that people are moving to the South East Ghettos and rebuilding them. Black leaders have been complaining about the gentrification (and loss of votes) I hear the same "problem" happening in other cities. Not really releated to liberals though, has more to do with the nature of the market and desire for people to live closer to the city and keep down the commute time.
