There is a lot of complaining, whining, lying, misleading, and really bad analysis going on right now vis-a-vis high gas prices. The latest I saw (early this morning) was an analysis that shows a lack of parity between the percentage increase in the price of a barrel of oil and the price of a gallon of gasoline at the pump. Look, I am not an economist or an expert on these matters. But rather than just moaning about the price of gas and then uttering some disembodied, meaningless statistic I heard from some dude, I have actually been listening to experts over the last few days. And, as with just about everything, to more I learn about an issue, the more I realize how important it is to study things before making snap judgments or determining a personal policy position. Here's the scoop as I now understand it...

Reminds me of something Rush said a long time ago.. (paraphrased) he knows of other hosts out there who play the 'right wing' line because that is what pays the best, if the pay changed, they would jump to the other side..

I used to think (and still do) he is talking about Michael Savage, but more and more Hannity seems to fit into that mold..

For Sean to say he has topics we can't get anywhere else, when they've been discussed immediately prior on Rush's show is just plain dishonest.

To a certain extent that's true. I've heard other hosts pick up certain terms like "drive by media"...I wouldn't be surprised if we hear a lot of "snake oil" this afternoon. On the other hand, to be fair, I've seen Rush pull some of Tony's stats from HIS show too...I just call it the intellectual millieau...
