Obstetrics and gynecology used to be about fixing problems with a women's reproductive system, and bringing healthy babies into the world. Now, people like you think that abortion is what qualifies one to be a good OB GYN.
No one needs to learn abortion techniques in order to be a good doctor. If you force people, they will simply go into another line of medicine, and then eventually there will be a shortage of doctors who deliver babies.
I never said that, but I guess its correct. What if there are complications and the baby is injured or dies in utero, or what if the health of the mother or baby is at risk? It is important that the OBGYN be prepared for these situations, so YES, it is important that they know how to do an abortion.
I am not talking about elective abortions.
