Rep. Cynthia McKinney, the Georgia congresswoman whose altercation with a Capitol Hill police officer last month made national headlines, qualified to run for re-election Monday -- and quickly drew a well-known challenger in July's Democratic primary.
Hank Johnson, an attorney and two-term member of the DeKalb County Commission, qualified to challenge McKinney in Georgia's 4th District, a majority black and solidly Democratic district on the eastern side of metropolitan Atlanta.
Meanwhile, James Myart, a prominent Texas civil rights attorney whom McKinney retained after her altercation with the police officer, issued a statement Monday saying he no longer represented her.
He did not explain why she was no longer his client.

He did not explain why she was no longer his client.
Maybe she hit him. Or maybe he insulted Tupac.

He did not explain why she was no longer his client. Did she call him a fool? Huh? Huh?

If this is the guy who was on H&C tonight, he's only very slightly to the right of her.

She's over the edge. With every recent TV appearance, she has this weird Stepford smile and the thousand yard stare.

Looks like she had a bad day. Sounds like an evil white conspiracy to me. 'The Man' has to be behind this.

Hank Johnson was on H&C tonight. I hope he wins, he seemed quite sane lol Hearing the words "productive citizen" out of the mouth of a Dem was quite refreshing.

"Meanwhile, James Myart, a prominent Texas civil rights attorney whom McKinney retained after her altercation with the police officer, issued a statement Monday saying he no longer represented her. He did not explain why she was no longer his client."
Translation: he has realized what a loathsome bucket of slime she is and wants nothing more to do with her. It's remarkable that an ultra-lib "civil rights attorney" would wash his hands of a prominent black client, but there it is....... the 'Rats are fleeing her sinking ship.

If this is the guy who was on H&C tonight, he's only very slightly to the right of her. He was putting me to sleep and I had to change the channel. Then again H&C usually puts me to sleep. FoxNews is unbearably dull.

He's McKinney light. He said there is evidence there were never any WMDs in Iraq to begin with.

Tell him to tell that to the Kurds.
A hell of a lot of them died from what they thought was poison gas.
