I watched his performance yesterday in Orange Co....discussing illegal immigration. It was disgusting.

"We're a nation of immigrants"....ah, no. We're largely native born and my grandparents came here LEGALLY.


"We can't deport them all." Really? We can go to the moon and back, track a cow from Canada, but we can't deport the illegals? WHAT PART OF ILLEGAL DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND, Mr. Bush?

"They're doing jobs Americans won't do." U-huh. Tell that to the Americans who are hocking family heirlooms to put gas in their cars. It's pure BS.

I voted for Bush twice, but he's lost my respect and support over the failures of his second term.

Would you give it a rest? There are at least 100 threads on which you can gripe about illegal immigration, which, may I say, wasn NOT a big issue during the 2000 campaign and never was much discussed here. The President has the SAME view on immigration he has had since his first campaign. If you voted for him you should have known his opinion.
