Perhaps you thought you voted for Mr. Perfect? I hate to be the one to tell you, but there is no man nor woman alive who will fulfill ALL of your wants and needs. Maybe it would help to take a step back and look at the BIG picture and the ALTERNATIVES before making harsh judgements. :)

Yea, sure, the big picture, that's the ticket is it?
We're spending billions on the war in Iraq to defeat terrorists there so we won't have to fight them at home. At the same time, the president and his administration has done nothing to check the massive flow of illegals into the US.
We have no borders. Anybody, including Al-Qaeda members can walk across that border. Let's suppose these terrorists decide to bring in some nuclear waste (I'm not talking nuclear bomb material) sufficient to make a couple of "dirty bombs." We know the Iranians could provide this material. Suppose they also walk in with some explosive belts like they use to kill innocents abroad. Now suppose a few of these jihadists take this nuclear waste and the explosive belts and walk into a couple of subway stations. Let's say just for illustration one in NYC and Union Station in DC and set them off. They would of course kill a lot of folks if they do it at rush hour, and contaminate those places, but the real damage would be the likely effect on the markets. Economic instability and all that. It strikes me as odd all the fuss over the Dubai ports deal, but no concern over the borders. I find it hard to take the GWOT seriously when we don't control ingress into the US.
