Alan of all people announces that Tony will be the next Press Sec, announcment from the White House will happen tomorrow morning!
No, not neglected...because I am not able to be on this thread but just every once in a great while...
BUT, considering he is/was a freeper..and actually conversed with freepers while on the air...I would have thought it merited a mention.

The DUers are too dumb to realize that Tony is now the WHITE HOUSE spokesperson, and his personal opinions don't enter into the equation.
We're very proud of you Tony and know you'll be the best White House Press Secretary.

Hell even Bob Beckle likes Tony. It is hard to hate someone like Tony.

Actually if more talk show hosts did that, they'd have a better feel for their audience and be worth listening to.
Talk radio should take a lesson from Tony Snow and the daily threads.
The really important thing is that his excellent opinions will help to shape the WH message.

We're spending billions on the war in Iraq to defeat terrorists there so we won't have to fight them at home. At the same time, the president and his administration has done nothing to check the massive flow of illegals into the US.
We have no borders. Anybody, including Al-Qaeda members can walk across that border. Let's suppose these terrorists decide to bring in some nuclear waste (I'm not talking nuclear bomb material) sufficient to make a couple of "dirty bombs." We know the Iranians could provide this material. Suppose they also walk in with some explosive belts like they use to kill innocents abroad. Now suppose a few of these jihadists take this nuclear waste and the explosive belts and walk into a couple of subway stations. Let's say just for illustration one in NYC and Union Station in DC and set them off. They would of course kill a lot of folks if they do it at rush hour, and contaminate those places, but the real damage would be the likely effect on the markets. Economic instability and all that. It strikes me as odd all the fuss over the Dubai ports deal, but no concern over the borders. I find it hard to take the GWOT seriously when we don't control ingress into the US.

The name of the position needs to be changed from "Press Secretary" to "Public Advocate" to give Tony more room to work with.
I could be wrong, but it seems he did not want us to be lumped in with other sites who specialize in drive byes. He's protecting us, I think.
Or from "Press Secretary" to "Cheif Presidential Advocate"

According to Fox I think I heard that Tony will be at the White House tomorrow for the official introductions.
