I can't sympathize with them one bit. At one time, perhaps I may have. But remembering my reading list when I was that age, this stuff is tame in comparison. And my father's a preacher!!

not appropriate for middle-school and high-school students

Sorry TC, there's nothing in a library that fits into the 'not appropriate' category for a high school student. Early middle school maybe. What happens when they get to college and they haven't heard of current classics because they were banned? We're not talking about trash novels here...
