Do you really think he can or should if there was an infraction? Have you thought of the consequences of him stepping in? Imagine the questions created by having the President step in now and "pardon" her. We would all be wondering what else he has stopped, pardoned, excused or ignored. And I mean, Democrats specifically. It would be political suicide. He could pardon her when he leaves office w/no repercussions.

That's of course the big If. The charges against her are bogus.

You mean after she spends her 6 months in Federal prison?

You think a little.

The woman didn't threaten the butcher.

Like leftists do every day at colleges and in other forums, she expressed her opinion verbally.

If the authorities felt she was creating a disturbance they should really have just removed her.

Don't you think jailing someone for expressing their outrage at a butcher and murderer is appropriate?

And yes, considering the circumstances, Bush should make sure this woman is NOT persecuted for exercizing her constitutional right to speak out.

Wow! A voice of reason!

I can hardly believe the infantile grasp of this issue the Bush bashers have in this thread.

They think all Govt functions should be open to screaming, yelling masses because that is their definition of "freedom of speech". How childish.
