JMO, I find it interesting that the uber-Libertarians on FR such as william and their hero boortz are all of the sudden upset about family oriented and socially conservative people immigrating to the US.
I guess if if it were libertine Dutch from Amsterdam pouring in, they would be saying huzzah.

Give the Dutch time, given what's doing over there with the Muslims, they'll be coming soon.

Is it because of their "social conservatism" that illegal aliens are so overrepresented in the prison population?

. . . family oriented and socially conservative people immigrating to the US. You haven't been keeping up to Mexican protest movements, have you? Who cares if they are " family oriented and socially conservative", they want to take a good part of the US and make it like the hellhole they escaped from.
Are you in this country legally?

"upset about family oriented and socially conservative people immigrating to the US."
It isn't immigration. The United States Federal government specifically defines immigration as a legal process in law. Therefore, they are not immigrating.
Now, we can debate whether they're invading (my word) or doing something else (whatever you'd like to call it), but if we want to stick with accepted legal terms, they are not immigrants.

You're making the accusation that everyone who doesn't think that 12 million illegal Mexican aliens deserve to be able to violate the national sovereignty of the United States is a racist. In fact, those who support illegal aliens working in this country for next to nothing are promoting the modern day equivalent of slavery where slaves make their own way to their owners and are overworked often in poor conditions, then paid with the wages that used to be used to house, feed, clothe, and oversee the slaves we got from the last region: Africa.
