Probably not....think Washington monument, Capitol Building (unless during Democratic caucus meeting) White House...all it will do is whip an already unbalanced population into a feeding frenzy. I favor the Teddy Roosevelt approach....a bomb falls on my house....three fall on yours. Put the ruling mullahs on notice that while we as a nation talk openly and disagree noisily, in the end we will survive and they will die.
We are not obligated to face DC everyday & pray to the Washington Monument, so I think your analogy may not follow. I was trying to apply a little Sun Tzu to the situation (seizing something dear to your enemy...and all that stuff). You may very well be right, I was just throwing the my idea out for comment.
