I have to admit that I do find myself pitying women as I get older.
As a guy, the world's pretty much the same place day after day emotionally. We can, to a large extent, distance ourselves as observers and have some degree of control as to how we perceive the world, what we will let affect us and how we'll react. (OK, boobies excepted) Even better, to the extent we like, we can shape the world, or at least our part of it, to make it the way we want.
I think women are largely in a different place. For them, the world is an ever-changing landscape in which they are directly affected by everything and have only limited control over how they perceive and react to it.
Sure, some women have it worse than others, and all of them seem to have highs and lows for various reasons. Still, I don't think I could handle being a woman, nor would I want to.

Yes our very interesting and exciting world is an ever-changing landscape but the fact that you think that as born muti-taskers, we have limited control shows that you haven't been paying attention!
For example, There may be times we show to you, limited control but just as a sign that we would like (and need) some assistance
And yes, women and men DO NEED each other!
