I specifically asked you what you would have the president do about the local laws against turning in illegal aliens. You have totally and completely IGNORED the question put to you and, instead, answered with something which YOU wanted to say; yet again.

This is NOT helpful to the debate and exchange of ideas. Forget what YOU would do as president and answer my question.

And as an aside, I suggest you look up just what the president's powers are, granted him by the Constitution.

I'd veto any bill that gave one cent to any state that had laws against turning in illegal aliens. Thats what I'd do.

I already answered that question in anearlier post. Federal law supercedes local law. The state of Arizon does not control the border. The Federal government does. What laws make it a crime to turn in illegal immigrants? I am unaware of these laws.
