Marx was a Jew. I guess that explains a lot. However, it's interesting to note that most adherents of Marxism, or at
least those wanting to impose it by force on the hoi polloi, as the article points out, hate Jews.

Karl Marx's father converted to Lutheranism before Karl was born. Karl was baptized in 1824, and his mother was baptized in 1825.
