I do not know anyone here in Nashville in my family or social circle who is conservative and happy with George W Bush.
No one....I was just with my mom at the hospital and we even talked about it listening to his Irvine speech recap.
And these are all mature grown successful folks who of course know damned well that the Dems are worse but they are gravely dissapointed by Bush's behavior this term and yes...in particular illegal immigration which is big here in Nashville. Aside from failure to enforce existing immigration laws and safeguard our borders, it just seems like he's kind of unmotivated. Just like his daddy was at the end. When Bush Sr went fishing on election day in 1992, I knew at that moment that he didn't want it as bad as Slick Willie who was still out gladhandling.
All that said. I will work to promote more conservative GOP in the fall and 2008 and hope neither the Senate RINOs nor W will get the chance to sell my children's future down the river for phantom votes of the illegals and their many anhors to come....
