I have a hard time keeping up my enthusiasm in these times. Illegal immigration, taxes getting ready to go back up since they sunsetted them, spending out of control and now politics on the energy prices.
And you know I'm normally a cheerleader. I'm horribly discouraged these days.
For example, I remember being so disheartened when the Senate wouldn't remove Clinton. But looking back, I realize that Gore would have been the incumbent and would probably have won, and the Republicans would have had the removal of a President hung around their necks. Gore would have been a disaster for this nation.
I trust the President, and I always will. He does his best given the times we are in, the hatefulness of the press and democrats, the attacks from Hollywood, the spinelessness and incompetence of so many in Congress.
I feel it is my duty to support him and I haven't given up on his getting more things done.
God works in mysterious ways his wonders to perform. Watch and see.
You are discouraged because you foolishly thought that things would change radically with the proper people in power.
Things have changed as much as possible given the state of the American mass mind. You think you are the only one disappointed in the festivities of late? Pshaw.
Snap out of it, and get back to work, we need you more than ever.
