You are wrong. Bush has been very consistent in his guest workers only proposal.

The Bush Plan has not been a viable option for a long time, if it ever was at all.

In as much as 19 of the 22 senate republicans who, up to now have been loyal supporters of the Bush Plan, abandoned that position and fell in behind Martinez-Hagel, don't you think its about time Bush abandoned the Bush Plan to support something that is politically feasible.

I think you need to re-write your last sentence to read:

don't you think its about time Bush abandoned the Bush Plan to support something that isn't political suicide?

The GOP has turned a deaf ear to their constituency and THAT is their problem. Most of us don't give a flying flip or see the urgency in a guest worker bill, period. What we DO want is for Bush and Congress to secure our borders NOW. That's really ALL we want right now and they refuse to do it!

Earth to Bush and Congress: You have taken our loyalty for granted. Make us eager to go to the polls in November and insure a high voter turnout. It's really very simple.

Help offset the protests tomorrow with our own!
