Amen! Reagan would be busting his buttons with pride over President Bush.

Glad at least SOME of us remember who the great RR really was.....

Listen sugar britches...you don't tell me or anyone else what to post. Are you too thick to know the differences between constructive criticism and hatefulness.

Don't be so dramatic...The word "hate" is really a gross exaggeration on your part. Or are you just paranoid?

Canada's border guards wear smart crimson red uniforms to `ride herd' on Americans seeking one-flush toilets.
Mexico's guards wear snappy green outfits down south, keeping out the Guatamalans and others.
In his wisdom, our own leader has made our border guards virtually invisible.

He would have lost anyway.

With all due respect, yours is a recipe for propetual defeat. Pull the rug out from under a president based on disagreement over a single issus--and one on which most Americans agree with the president.

He may not have changed his position, but he sure as hell has changed what he lets be known about his position. He said that he was not in favor of amnesty and was in favor of enforcing the laws and controlling the border. He is not.

Bush could not now be elected to office here in Texas because of his views on immigration and his perceived betrayal in falsely representing his views.

I believe your assertion is completely wrong.

"Nothing like making claims that are absolutely impossible to verify."

A little inversion of your post works nicely....

Relax... I laughed at a funny.. Ane yes, I've known his position, and supported and voted for GWB twice but he is dead wrong here and he is starting to sink the ship. I had hoped he would begin to listen to those who voted for him, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Evewn you disagree with his position here.

There have been improvements in border security, and there have been arrests of illegals, a change in prison policy and in deportation.

It is inaccurate to say that he is not in favor of enforcing the laws.

Whether or not he is doing enough is the question. I don't think he is.

they will have only themselves to blame for a lack of spine

I will work very hard to get truly conservative GOP who understand Culture, Language and Borders elected.

But I will not send my money to RINOs or No-Culture-War GOP ever again.

They sould dance with those who brung them....something the Dems know all too well.

"Are you too thick to know the differences between constructive criticism and hatefulness."

Far too many of the posts I've seen on these threads are much closer to the latter than to the former. In fact, I've hardly seen any "constructive criticism" -- mostly just Bush bashing.

He's HONORABLE. Which is more than I can say for the Bush haters on this forum.

He's honorable? I getting pretty tired of this. Bush has sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. He is to defend it from all enemies foreign and domestic. We are in a middle of an invasion and he is encouraging more? How is that honorable? If the Dems wanted to impeach him on the border they would be justified.

I know I do. I disagree strongly.

But I believe in rational discussion of the issue, and it is impossible with the irrational rhetoric on threads like this.

And I will NEVER lose respect for this great President because I know that he believes his policy is the best way to solve the problem.

What do you expect of those who dismiss his 11th Commandment without a second thought?

Are you saying you want the President impeached? If you are, I'm going to hit the abuse button.
