Kerry has the opportunity to lead a movement once again... by rallying a very angry public to force a change in policy. Richard Nixon worried about Kerry's potential as a leader back in the 70s; maybe the new Kerry will finally prove him right.
John Kerry came to national attention not because he was a war hero but because he was a dissenter. In 1971, he appeared on "The Dick Cavett Show," testified before Congress, and electrified anti-war rallies with his message that the war was wrong. His phrase, "How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?" was used for years to define his commitment and eloquence.

I Love the "War is Wrong" bend on the story. Where do they go into the part where he accused soldiers of killing children, raping women and beheading innocents. The whole story is so white-washed that it is hard to recognize. Even after the entire nation has heard of the Winter Soldier Hearings (despite efforts by the MSM to prevent that scenario) the MSM keeps coming up with the "War-hero, dissenter" spin. The MSM is living in a fantasy world where they believe that as long as they refuse to report something then it can't really be true!
Liberal politicians like Kerry are weasely opportunists who read the polls and "say what they believe" when they think it's advantageous. Real patriots don't have to keep checking on what other people think before they declare themselves for our country and against its enemies. What Kerry and his ilk really believe is that America is the enemy.
"Old Horseface" had a mole in MACVSOG,too. Amazing, for a mere O-2. I guess we should have begged Kerry to run every OP for us. I know he would have a real Purple Heart for sure, plus the CMH (casket medal handles). ROFLMAO
That is a great PS.
(And too possible.)
I guess Dolly swallows. |
If I need another movement I'll eat a bowl of chile.
