It wasnt the vitriol that was leveled at Clinton that was tasteless. What was tasteless was the man himself and the scumbag he is married too.
Its hard to speak of a man beating his johnson in a sink while sticking a cigar in his intern and do it in good taste.
Its hard to speak of a First lady who put rubbers on the White House Christmas tree and say she has taste.

Yes...sedition. It's a time of war, and the War is on until it's over. Our enemy uses armies of assassins and is very experienced at disseminating conspiracy story propaganda. The War will be a long one, like it or not.

Showing a divided front to our enemies is a bad idea. People may have the right to do it but exercising that right is a bad idea.
- Since WWII our defense has been based on deterrence; the notion that you really don't want to mess with us because the consequences will be severe.
- When we have been attacked, it's because our enemies judged us as having weak character, a lack of willingness to employ our military might, a squeamishness about sacrificing our lives. Examples include the Empire of Japan, the Ayotolla taking hostages, Russia attacking Afghanistan, etc. More recently, Osama Bin Laden cited our withdrawl after Mogadishu and unwillingness to retaliate for terror attacks as his rationale for 9/11. The Iraqi Perspectives Project determined that Saddam did not defend Iraq or specifically Baghdad because he believed the U.S. would not invade and, later, that they would drive all the way to Baghdad.
- Every time a Murtha, Kerry or retired general advocates surrender he emboldens our enemies.
- This costs American lives now. It will also lead others to challenge us in the future, wasting more lives.
The President should make these points clearly and forcefully. "They have the right to dissent but it shows terrible judgement. It encourages our enemies. It costs the lives of our soldiers fighting around the world today and will encourage others to attack us in the future. They have not learned the lessons of history and do not deserve to remain in positions of responsibility."
"We are determined that before the sun sets on this terrible struggle our flag will be recognized throughout the world as a symbol of freedom on the one hand and of overwhelming force on the other."...Gen. George C. Marshall
