I can see if you can't find qualified engineers here, which has sometimes been the case, but when you have one, and they know your facilities in their sleep, and are good at what they do, why would you? Certanly not for the few dollars you'd save. Not a pharmaceutical company. They have no need to cut their costs trimming salaries.

They certainly will soon when the US cash cow dries up. Just imagine open competitive bidding on medicare perscription plans, or the free flow of global medical supplies/meds; something the present administration has so far refused to do, but which will certainly happen under globalization.
