"It is a sad day in this nation when people here illegally can storm the streets of our cities and demand U.S. taxpayers continue to provide them welfare, social service programs, free health care and the education of their children," proclaimed Curtis Collier, president of U.S. Border Watch. "If elected officials cannot fulfill their oath of office to defend this country and the Constitution against enemies foreign and domestic, I demand they resign."
I second that. This is an invasion, and our elected officials are required to protect us from all threats foreign and domestic (one of government's few legitimate roles). It's time they ante up.
Interesting news.
Not only a sad day, but a horrible day. Respect for the law is going down when people can flagrantly flout the law and get away with it. Also when do illegals make law for the USA? Are we turning into France?
Can I second your second? ;)
Can't improve on perfection, the quote says it all and than some!
Standing ovation for that one!
susie
Absolutely. Chicago and Illinois' Washington politicians fully supported illegal immigrants breaking the FEDERAL LAW because there was something in it for the politicians. Can't wait until the we, LEGAL voters, figure out that we don't have to follow the law anymore either and NOT pay taxes. If illegals don't have to follow the law why do we legals (wow, a target market!) have to follow the law? What's the Federal Government going to do, "round us all up"? ;)
Pitiful; P I T I F U L!
American tax payers had better wake up and get with the program or we have had it as a nation. Illegal aliens are draining billions of dollars in public aid, scholarships and assistance that should be going to American citizens. That money is coming directly out of OUR pockets. Those jobs are jobs our citizens and their families are being denied.
Americans had better fight for secure borders and an end to this FLOOD of illegal aliens and fight it fast and hard or we are going to become a third-class, third-world country.
As for the politicians; vote out those who are soft on or who refuse to deal with the problem or who have actually come out in support of ILLEGALS over American citizens, and vote FOR those candidates who promise to put an end to this travesty.
Joe, you nailed it.
You've got that right. Right now, I say that any politician, regardless of party, who does not enforce the immigration and labor laws of this country is at least guilty of dereliction of duty and should be thrown out of office. Along with any politician giving encouragement to this INVASION by proposing amnesty and citizenship for these law breakers should also be thrown out of office and at least be investigated, if not actually put on trial for TREASON, SEDITION or a willful failure to enforce our nations immigration and labor laws and receive punishment according to what the law prescribes.
I think all Americans should get themselves an Alamo Flag and start flying it.
Maybe that will help get our point across.
Check the RING-ROUND-DA-NOSE-N-LIPS of Congress.
Are we turning into France?
Could be, but many states are fighting back by passing Castle Laws to begin to turn the tide back to where it belongs; where the citizen has the rights and and power; not the STATE.
Oh! That's where you're off track. Because you are legal the MindlessLiberal Pols will go after you.
:)
How will they find? They haven't to date. :)
So you're the gringo chica trying to pass for a real chica that I've seen in the Chicago rallies? LOL!!!!!
When they are supported 100% by the President and both major parties.
President Bush: Taking the side of non-citizens versus the Citizens.
This is pathetic. They can round up 100,000 protesters and we assemble 100.
What is it going to take before the American people are willing to take to the streets? Why do the illegals, the leftists, the gun-haters, the commies, and the rest of the motley crew demonstrate so freely and easily but nothing can drag the average or right-wing American away from his flat-panel?
(So I say, who have never been to a demonstration in my life.)
I second your second!!!
