After nine months of research and seven roads trips to check out the ambiance, I chose to retire to this wonderful state in September, 2003.

This is the first news that makes me wonder.

In the article, Ms. Gillespie says she's flabbergasted.

Me, I just wonder why some people think this is needed?

I was unaware the trafficking in and the use of sex toys was destroying South Carolina.

I'm just so ashamed. What shall I say when I'm asked what state I'm from?

PS to #12 above. Fantastic, targeted tag line :)

"What shall I say when I'm asked what state I'm from?"

Since "banning the sale of sex toys is actually quite common in some Southern states", then I would proudly tell people I'm from a Southern state that supports morals and decency and is a good place to raise children.

Or you could move. Your choice.

As a lifeline resident of the Upstate, I'm proud to live in the state of South Carolina. It's an adventure! Sometimes it's fun to just sit back and watch the - shall we say - "eccentricities" of our more colorful favorite sons.

Just out of curiousity from where are you retiring?

This is the first news that makes me wonder.

One would think as a conservative you understand by the intended rights of the sovereign states as written by the Framers, the state of SC has the power to do this.
