As do I. However, at the same time, you have to realize that the terrorists will mark his unit as one to hit especially hard, with him in it. Imagine the media coup, should they kill an heir to the throne, or G-d forbid, capture him! This is a situation that could turn into a nightmare for the British military, and they're in a no-win situation.

Where I come from this is called an opportunity. The job of the military is to kill bad guys. One of the problems in wars of this type is that it is difficult to determine where the enemy will hit. If they are going to try to hit red haired guys specifically in his unit, the enemy will become much more vulnerable. Have everyone in the unit dye their hair red, then lock & load.
