At least Barney got his very own Presidential Medal of Freedom, which the Dims can never take away from him. ;-)
Barney even got his own official Easter egg.
Faithful little Barney walks in the rain with the President past the always hostile White House press corps.
Barney learned his faithfulness from the President's beloved English Spring Spaniel, Spotty, who passed away in February two years ago. Barney has been a worthy successor to his old friend.

Thank you for the pictures of Barney!!! Love that dog. I still miss Spotty. I love White House pets and feel very bad for the poor, unfortunate ones who belonged to the Clintons.
